Unity Candle
G & I decided we wanted a unique candle to be used for our unity candle. We knew we could purchase a candle and decorate it but we wanted it even more special than that.... We decided to make our very own candle but along with it place inside the candle a letter to each of us declairing our love and devotion. We placed the letters inside of a cigar holder that we found at Things Remembered and then started to go to work on hand pouring the candle. It's perfect for us. The colors are purple, red and then orange... our wedding colors. We snazed up the outside of it so that it didn't look like a giant mess to everyone else. I couldn't be happier with this project! Check out my blog to find out how we completed this task!
Hangers
Check out my blog for more info on how to make these babies!
Wedding Reception Guestbook
We created a Mixbook (couldn't be happier with how it turned out!) We got a 12x12 book and thanks to groupon, we paid a grant total of $15 and that included free shipping because of the time we purchased it! I don't have a picture of the book but I do have the link... so click and see what our mixbook looks like! Mixbook is honestly the easiest thing to use, they have certainly taken into consideration how to make it easy but also make a beautiful book!
Flower Girl Baskets
It wasn't a complete DIY but I couldn't find one specific basket that I really like all that much for our flower girls.
So I purchased 2 of the plain ivory baskets and then went ahead and sewed the ribbon on to each of them and put the inital brooch/pin onto them as well. It just so happens that FI and I's first intials are A & G and our Flower Girls names begin with an A & G. :)

Centerpieces
My mom designed all of the floral centerpieces - they even have light up branches in them which my FFIL just thought was the coolest thing ever. They will be on 1/2 of the tables, then we did an arrangement of pillar candles in vases along with coffee beans on the other 1/2 of the tables - simple yet fun!
Napkins
They are stamped and embossed - super easy and really cheap!
